Ok so I've been offered a job at another office and signed a duty and given a start date however the date is in 2 weeks and I still haven't received my new contract and my manager hasn't been notified by the new manager .
Is this right , shall I just turn up on the first day ?

The receiving office has to complete an ECR ,(employee change request). Nagging is the only answer.

If he hasn't done the ecr will that be reason to put my transfer date back?

Definitely check before you start that your ECR has been completed, as you'll still be on your old units PSP, so if you do any O/T you'll be relying on you old manager inputting it.
Colleague of mine is having a nightmare with a cocked-up ECR and thats within the same DO, was on a 20 hour contract in collections, offered a 24 hour contract in deliveries (same office) back in March, ECR got messed up, now he's off sick after an AOD back in May, and despite being told his hours would have been increased back in March is still only being paid for 20 hours and now being told it can't be amended as he's off sick, despite the ECR being submitted 2 months prior.
