full meal breaks before delivery

can you take your full 40 mins before delivery or is it 20 mins /20mins thought i was allowed to choose to take my break when i choose

It is an office decision.
If the office votes for 40 minutes in one go then it is 40 minutes in one go.
If they vote for 20/20 then it is 20/20.

Would it make any sense for a P&L pairing to be on different meal reliefs?

You don't have to have 20 mins before you go out,you can have it half way through your delivery if you want.

You can have your full 40 if you want it, if the rest of the office works on 20/20 and you want the full 40 then that's your managers problem. They can build into your duty the time in which you have to have your break for operational needs.

Your employer cannot tell you when to take your break,if that were true they could tell you to have it 30 minutes after you start your duty!

We take 30 mins before delivery in our office, and 10 minutes out. Seems the most sensible to be honest, the 10 minutes outside gives you the flexibility to sit out the rain if there's a short shower, or take a quick bite to eat/drink.

Is there a split anywhere else?

Canteen can be a lonely place to be at ours.
