official: doorstep all parcels ?

weve been told by our dom that all tracks must be delivered. first, try attempt delivery. if not in, try a neighbour. if that fails, we must leave it in a safe place like bluebin round the back etc. anyone else been told this

Don't do it.. He is trying to boost his delivery figures.. If there is no safe place instruction on label then there is no safe place. You will be accountable for any missing items.

I think delivery to a neighbour is ok. im trying it and not had any complaints from engibhours yet

apparently we have to reach a target with this track thing and if we don't our main customers such as amazon will not use us for Christmas

Guarantee if anything goes astray then it will be your head on the block, no-one else's.

Why are tracked treated like specials - they only cost 40p extra to businesses! and cost us time.

We were asked to try delivery to neighbour for Tracked items. DOM's target is 90% First Time Delivery (FTD), in line with our competitors?

Now those of us attempting delivery to neighbours are achieving approx 95%. This helps reach the DOM's target, making up nicely for those who won't do it.
If unable to deliver to neighbours we're to try re-delivery on trip back to DO, time allowing of course.

Absolutely NO doorstepping allowed in principle but of course, to reach high FTD rates in practice means leaving items in unsecure porches.

Not our problem - RM has strict doorstepping rules so they can't have it both ways.
