Return to petrol vans?

Return to petrol vans?
Heard yesterday that RM are looking at going back to petrol vans. This would make sense as when I was at Gloucester MC the garage ( and car park ) was always full of delivery vans in for repair, and there was barely a day went by without the RAC towing vans in several times a day. Most of the problems were clogged DPF's.

Why not try cycles with cages on back or front for delivery near the delivery offices?

Mopeds
Anything but vans!
I was told that they had considered all these and more and that none were viable or H&S compliant

Yep they had electrical trollies on trial but the charge never lasted long enough and when it ran out of juice the RAC had to be called because at 500kg it was too heavy to push back to the office.
