Grievance - What's the procedure?

I've had enough of a certain situation. Can someone tell me exactly how I put a grievance in?

Ask your manager for a grievance form state you grievance and what you would like out of it?
i.e a move to another office, to get you away from that person?

Be realistic about outcomes

And watch your back

Is your local rep switched on?

Try and help them by doing a wee bit of research into possible outcomes etc

You need to request a 1st stage individual Grievance form but if your grievance is with your line manager then you automatically go to a 2nd stage individual grievance form and the ER Team, Pond Street, Sheffield are copied in and they will appoint a manger within your centre or area to investigate your complaint.
On the form you can give a brief summary of your grievance but ensure you include the specific points contained in your grievance in case at the investigating stage if you have omitted the relevant points then its possible at this stage that this was not mentioned in your grievance.

Doesn't seem much point in sticking my head above the parapet if the reason wouldn't be valid.
