is there anybody knows if vr(volunatary redundancy)in delivery,was told at christmas 2013 that there would be a chance to go if i wanted to,not heard a thing since.i suppose being in the enquiry office dosnt help,but i am sure when i ask my line manager i not being told the truth to suit him ie not having to find another bod to do the job in another format,knowing that my job as it exists will go as you cannot give a person vr then put someone else on it ,probably as now those that are left would have to absorb the work load forgive the management speak.

There are RUMOURS that VR will be offered business wide fairly soon, but at the moment it is only rumour so don't plan on it.

Traditionally in deliveries VRs were only offered when there was a revision happening and they needed to reduce the head count. Only you and your colleagues will know if there is a revision due or being planned.

I'm confused. Do you work on delivery or are you office based?

yes we are attatched to delivery,have been attatched to distribution and proccessing over the years,i get the impression nobody wants to have anything to do with customer facing work.

TBT is the rumour about VR from a good source or just run of the mill ?

Nothing from my usual sources, but it was first muted on here by respected posters. So its a "Strong run of the Mill" rumour.
