something to remember ?

now that traffic is supposed to be down,people are getting earbashing from there doms regarding any claimed overtime,something to remember is to work to your time ALL OF DECEMBER 2014,if you cant claim ot in summer months why claim it winter months,think about it.

we need to get sensible - work properly YES - refuse overtime in the busiest time of the year ( hurting no-one but our customers) because in the summer when volumes were light ( and they are lighter than i have ever known - packets excluded) complete madness

get smart and get smart NOW

Do your job properly everyone

come in on your time - not early because you want a parking space/to prep slower/to have an easier day

take your breaks - before they are taken from you

stop running/rushing around - stop working for free

protect your jobs - protect everyone's jobs

do your job correctly and give the best service you can to our customers

Maybe then we will keep them

If you think I am talking s**t - I ordered 2 things last night online

they both arrived today - on a Sunday

We need to change and wise up quick

It won't matter if we 'beat' the management if there is no company left

Whatever the reason, it is our right to refuse overtime. Management should be able to plan based on how many people are willing to do overtime. If they dont have enough people employed we shouldnt be carrying that burden. Its about PLANNING something which RM management seem incapable of.

I can't talk for all offices obviously because I don't work there

but it is light very light

why would we try to hurt the business that pays our wages at Xmas??? Madness complete madness

thanks postie45 somebody on my wavelength,im not working this December until it is nearly dark previous years ive worn a head torch after 4.30 pm and worked my ba**s off,this December I will be telling management somebody else can have my overtime,ive had enough

feduppostie our office hasn't had much overtime,but theres a few who has had between say an hour to 4 hours in a week and some staff have worked there day off if they have had no overtime which is fair enough ,but guess what say somebody worked 4 hours ot they open there wageslip and hey presto they have only been paid for an hour work instead of 4 .Others who have worked there day off ,haven't even been paid,so why the hell should we do management a favour when THEY need it most in busy winter months,theres to many for the want of a better word corrupt managers out there,hey fiddle the figures and they get there nice bonus,do you understand.
