Maximum 6 Hours Overtime for full timers

In our sector they are only paying a maximum of 6 hours per day for any of us full timers who come in and work overtime.

Is this going on Nationwide.

no we get full shift though in some areas you dont even get a set amount just the hours you work, if everyone stops coming in, you will find it will soon go back up to a full shift

been like this for ages in my d.o, your walk gets prepped, you just come in bundle up & deliver it! 6 hours!

which means you get paid more than the hours worked - i think

it all depends: if a full timer comes in and do not do additional like IPS/Packets or something else then 6 hours is about OK if it is not a busy day. But our 32 hours folks get about 6.30mins a day so 6 hours for a busy wednesday might not be enough...

No thanks, had enough doing 39 hours, without delivering mail someone else has chucked up not bothering whether its in the right holes or not.

its started in edinburgh too they only giving 5 hours

asked me to work ,said id come in if i got 8 hours,said no only paying 6,said forget it,soon came round to my way of thinking though,usually desperate if they ask me
