World class mail jobs? help!

Hi I asked my DOM today about any jobs that are available, thinking health and safety rep or trainer, he mentioned world class mail and said he dint have time to discuss it but will give me more information at the end of the week

so do you guys know what this is and what it involves? is it just volunteer work or is there any extra pay

he did mention it opens allot of doors.. but i guess they all say that

If you can use a duster to clean the frames and a van, if you can draw pictures of stools, postboxes and letters,if you can use cellotape and drawing pins, if you can show people how to correctly use a post peg and most of all, if most of the office class you as a c@ck , you will be ready made for the job .

I don't know much about it but I have had some WCM training. To be a certified WCM trainer you have to complete a 10 week course. I can't imagine many DOMs allowing a postie to swan off for that amount of time. I'm guessing that you only go on the full course if you've already snapped up one of the WCM jobs.

Fair comment, taken in good heart but wcm people in my eyes are just rubbing rags.
People who have no idea how the job runs telling people who know the job how to feck it up.
If you want to do it bat on but don't believe everything your dim tells you

fair enough, just trying to get as much information about it as possible really before i speak to my manager end of the week, i want your opinions because when speaking to the manager he will make it sound wonderful

He must be a bloody good salesman then ,remember the old saying, "you can't polish a turd" this guy obviously can. Still once the share price and the profits drop even more, this will be the first thing they cut, hopefully.

The only extra pay will be possibly some ot opportunities will doing a task connected to wcm .

You don't hear much of WCM these days - if there's vacancies in your office it should tell you something because its been going for about 3 years.
