Thanks for that - I actually hadn't thought of looking on the CWU website

So 27 MPs turned up and they will presumably sway the rest into recognising what a serious problem this is however I'm pretty sure that with a general election less than 12 months away they are going to have their hands full campaigning. With the financial support the union give to Labour they should insist that the USO will be protected as part of the mandate for the new government when they are elected. How many CWU sponsored MPs turned up? Was Alan Johnson there or was he otherwise engaged?
