Re: dom v oh assist
Have you agreed a schedule for keeping your DOM informed of your progress. If not then that is the probable intent of the contact.
If you do not agree the frequency and type of contact with your DOM during your absence then they may refuse/freeze your pay as a result.
I suggest you make a schedule of weekly contact on a Friday afternoon or Saturday via email only. This way your contact can be made in a less stressful environment and all contact can be CC'd BCC'd and called back later as proof if required.

Re: dom v oh assist
In the first two weeks of absence you need to have agreed at least a weekly contact with your Manager, beyond that your Manager is supposed to meet you face to face, (if at all possible), at specific frequencies throughout any long term absence. The first review is a twenty eight days with further reviews at twelve and twenty two weeks.
Following the expiry of a Fit Note your Manager should make reasonable efforts to contact you in order to provide you with two days notice prior to suspension of Sick Pay.

Send them an email thank them for their concern but informing them that at present, whilst unfit for work and under the advice of the employers OH services you do not require their support at present. Inform them that you will make contact again via email each Saturday but unless you indicate otherwise will not require further intervention or support from them any earlier than after your next ATOS appointment in four weeks time. In the meantime you will of course ensure that any fit notes etc. remain valid.
