34 weeks is Ill Health Retirement (+ PILON.)
EVR is 104 weeks I think.
EVR is 104 weeks I think.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Not 2yrs max + pension.hans solo wrote:cheers i thought it was still 2yrs max +pension
It's 26 weeks + pension if you are over 55 and haven't already taken your pension.
If you are under 55 the VR payment would depend on your age and length of service. To get the maximum 104 weeks you would need to be aged 52 with at least 22 years service. Your pension would be frozen until you reach 60 (I think).
If you have already taken your pension and opted out of all RM Pensions, including the new Workplace Pension they introduced last year you would need to be at least 57 years old, with at least 20 years service, to get the maximum 104 weeks VR.

Yes you can, but it will be reduced by 5% for every year you take it before 60 (I think). And if you have taken it you might get the max 104 weeks VR if you have sufficient service.daveyeff wrote:you can take your pension at 55. even the one that changed recently.
But the OP was talking about VR/EVR. If you were taking that without already receiving your pension you would only get 26 weeks VR + slightly enhanced pension, not 2 years + pension, as he seemed to be saying.
