Lino shuffle

Just heard that all the linos in our office are being swapped over with all the linos in a nearby office. Is this happening anywhere else? Just curious as I can't really see the benefit of swapping them about? :roll:

Looking on the bright side it's nice to see them as pissed off as the rest of the workforce for a change! :nana

Well that is curious because I asked a line manager a question today and got a curious answer. It would make some sort of sense in that good practices could be transposed from one unit to another.

When I was a kid me mam would often shuffle lino from one room to another. Suppose it was to reduce wear. Can,t see that being the case with Royal Mail Linos as they seldom get off their ass,s.

Surely bad practices would also be transposed? :hmmmm Still can't see the benefit. The linos we have are pretty useless but at least they know the walks, the slackers and the butt munchers.

Well bad practices would show up in the figures pretty quick but if you meant bad practices making people work all their hours well that too would show up in the figures. Personally I think it's a frightener for the line managers to get their act together.

Line managers (does that grade count) get treated like crap in my area.

They seem to have to change a day off if they get one at all depending on resources. Chatted to one last week and he was ready to quit.

Sooner pick up a 10 hours OT and take home the same as a postie. :hmmmm

A new regime of linos who have no relationship, working or otherwise, with the workforce makes dishing out the bullshit passed down from on high all the easier.

We have the same line managers for about 3 years and theres no news on them being moved.

It's happening here next month, but NOTHING is passed on, it will be rewrite all the hazards again, look at the duty differences and do nothing about it again, new rules, same bullying , they don't communicate with each other except in their 4 hour breaks and fag breaks. Just get rid of them !
Why are lino's paid full-time ??
