Its fact that TNT is to expand and impact will be on MCs and DOs. Will we survive in few years time ? Less work in MCs and not enogh to deliver in DOs? Anybody know the answer ? whats the future like ?? staffing level ?

Cities where TNT are ...... RM deliveries got less than 40% to deliver and they are finishing 3 hours earlier... surley they can not carry on like this ?

Is there anybody on this website from TNT effected area? Whats like in your MC and whats the situation in your delivery office?
We like to know because soon TNT will be in our city.

TNT always take on the rejects, hope mateys driver assessment can speak english not many can on TNT.

Complaints are up ,there mis-deliverys we get the blame for, don't do redirections, or kill off there dead letters, 40% drop in letter volumes, TnT are here from Holland to plunder and exploit the British postal system its easy money for them, cheap labour, or like the con-den say"job creation" hardly any overheads and do not provide uso, their posties work 5 to 6 hour's delivery spans by bike or trolleys, on zero hour contacts. its to late ,we should have stopped handling their mail years ago,they have been allowed to grow on the back of royal mail cuts and 50, 000 evrs and still raising , the way I see it tnt are just doing the old second delivery at a cheaper rate and still making a profit.sw London

I wonder if the likes of Tesco and Asda employees are sh.tting themselves over the growing influence of Liddl and Aldi.
We may not like it but what the likes of TNT and others are doing is perfectly legal. Royal Mails problem is the Universal Service not TNT.

In this particular Manchester postcode it is apparent that they fly by the seat of their pants. Poor logistic support - little on street training - lots of absenteeism. The few that have been there since they started (thankfully including the one who delivers to me) have turned into decent posties but the fact remains that most of the first large intake were recruited from a gene pool with no lifeguard. There was no on the ground experience to train them. Even though the area I am in is several miles from their local depot, there is no qualified cycle engineer to support them and at present there are 12 out of their 32 cycles out of commission because the guy who "knows a bit about bikes" is too knackered after deliveries to repair them - so they have had to borrow trolleys from another area and bring them out in vans.

They have not taken "40%" of our business but would obviously like to, now delivering a lot of familiar items that I see in porches. Most companies using them are not too bothered about time sensitivity as long as they are cheap which is our real problem - where time is of the essence we win hands down and I believe that due to such things as late arrivals of hospital appointments that we now have NHS contracts back. Another contract that we lost to them - the Graze snackbox, now appears to be coming through RM again due to people receiving Tuesdays lunch on Fridays.

We can compete on quality and cost - the quality is down to you guys but sadly the costs mean that there will be fewer of you doing it
