Vans - Over night retentions

So our office have been told this week that our over night retention is only applying to a certain number of full time staff now.

DOM has said its part of the 2010 agreement that we have to leave the vans at the office end of shift and use public transport to get to and from work.

Is this happening at other offices?

The one benefit the driver got for driving was to take the van home.
Our over night retentions are basically being cancelled come Monday.

All homes need to be visited and assessed. For example if you have a drive then the van should be on it.

And if your office has sufficient parking space, nobody should be taking one home anyway.

I didn't say it was a right. I said it was described as a benefit when the shared vans came in.

This should only happen if the office has insufficient room to park all the vans.
