Management throwing rounds off

Should Management be throwing lapsed rounds off, sorting packets out etc ?
When you ask them to do something about problems in the office or other queries they are not interested as they are too busy
All they think off is saving hours by not paying O/T, bullying , and BONUS BONUS BONUS

I would say no they're not meant to doing that because by doing the work of a postie they are making it look like the office can lapse and is fully staffed. They are probably doing it so that they get their bonuses, and taking jobs away from part time and full time posties.

a real sad state of affairs.to which moya is no doubt unaware of,or simply doesn't care,the day to day gutty slog we do to paint a fab picture of royal mail,she hasn't a clue.our dom regularly goes off to do deliveries where offices are short staff through sickness or vacancies etc etc,full time replaced by part time,

If no one is prepared to put their head above the parapitt nothing will ever get done and these monkeys will continue to bully, harrass and discriminate, and do anything to achieve their ill gotten gains. Bit difficult as a PTer I rely on manager giving me OT. Piss them off and it'll soon go to somebody else. I think it's better if you go through the union and get their backing.

Rep needs to lodge a disagreement, as stated above their taking money out of posties pockets not acceptable.
We had the same happen at our office soon put a stop to it via disagreement.

He can't just take to off you, ot should be allocated fairly to those who want it in the office, best way is to use an aggregate list system, them manager cannot take ot away from you and it's shared out fairly

Extra rounds to be lapsed next week and the early starters say they will have to come in earlier
You can tell the runners they are the problem but they just don't get it do they , I give up

Seems like he is doing you out of overtime Eastie? The managers should let NOBODY leave the office till the walks are fully thrown off then early birds and runners will fly around there and do it for nothing itching to get out... Simple!

We really are our own worst enemies
We have exactly the same problems in our office.
I can argue with management, and occasionaly affect some type of change,sadly the Runners, and early birds are beyond reason.
We actually have one guy who comes in early, skips his M/R, and runs around, then has the gaul to moan that he can't get a F/T possition

guaranteed on a mon/tue/sat a few are bagged up and ready for off before I've got 1 letter in, some same hours as me.
if i know we can't take our lapsed bit (which is usually sorted by management with the unions blessing) and i get quizzed i just say "tell those back early to take it"
