What on earth is going on at York DO?
My cousin up north has said he is going to be helping out at York delivery office because loads of walks are failing daily. Anyone up that way know whats gone on? Failed revision? Lack of staff?

York D.O. now doing 1 in 4 Saturdays off. Unfortunately everyone is taking them and revision 'methods' went ahead without putting cover duties in. (Not had a re-sign yet.)
Revision methods not popular with the old-timers, so a lot cutting off, plenty of overtime for the ones who want to clean up.
Just about enough staff but a fair few have the same days off, so never enough cover. All the new recruits tend to leave within 3 weeks not helping.
Holidays done pre-revision, so lots of staff shortage coming up due to holiday clashes in same areas.
Apart from that, it's running smoothly!

They have asked processing staff at Leeds MC to cover for 4 weeks. 10hr days Tue-Sat.

Our office (one in greater Manchester) has 1 in 4 and is running fairly smoothly....albeit needs a few tweets that management are reluctant to address ...apart from that it's not too bad
