in birmingham the missort run has been cancelled for 10 weeks to create time for absorbsion.
is this allowed?

We have not had a missort run for at least 4 years and it was a farce when we did have one.

we had a missort run. now its gone you realise just how much mail isn't getting to its destination on time.usualy have a few specials a week missorted but since no missort run theres no chance for them to make it on time. great job moya.

It seems some areas are running their own policies re missorts. Also a lot of Areas like GU/KT/ not sure about HCN and Medway areas have stopped completely

Miss-sort run?
You should see all the miss-sorts/re-directions that could be delivered for our own office because people are allowed to come in and then leave up to an hour before their official start time each day!

It is the same in WS as well. I find it much better and I don't like to see one or two box of mail waiting to be throw out plus it is easier to double prep. I think it is waste of resources for missorts run.
