Slightly embarrassing question.

Am i the only person who suffers from chafing when walking round for hours in the heat? It tends to be caused from the lining on my underpants rubbing. Does anyone use base layers/cycling shorts? Do they help? I'm embarrassed posting this!!

Some talcum powder may help, or a light layer of lube.

Basically your getting prickly heat,ventilate,wash well and apply gel before going on duty

seriously though I wear Jockey shorts, like these



snug enough to keep the boys in check but with extra material at the top of the legs, never suffered with chafing whilst wearing these.

Dosent help they've got us now walking in the hottest time of the day nowadays. The shorts are ok but the polo shirts are rubbish ,horrible material for summer . Why not give us a r mail cotton loose t shirt for really hot days ? Forcing us to wear high viz in this heat is not a good idea bosses either ,,get real

I had terrible chafing last week, I've always worn leggings underneath my trousers but I was overheating big time. I ditched the leggings for one day... Never again! I got home ripped them off and had to use my sons sudacrem!!

Used to use lanacane anti-chaffing gel but find a good dusting of talc down there can help just as much. Down to personal choice really!

The High Viz is not an official part of your uniform.
the only place you have to wear it is in the van yard of your delivery office, you do not need to wear it out on delivery at all.

if your manager insist that it is ask him to see the official documentation regarding this.

Yeah just wear the "boxer brief" style underwear and you should be fine.Calvin Klein may seem pricey but they are worth it,very soft and supportive and last ages.Maybve try cheaper alternatives to see if they help first ,Matalan do a cheaper one than CK think it is called Pringle and they are good too.I had same issue when i started last year in summer!
