Hi everyone

Is it against the law for a company to allow staff etc access to p & c information and discuss this with other members of staff. If so what can be done about that/ where do I go for advice.

Depends on which other staff I suppose. Your managers would no doubt need access to your info for various reasons but to discuss it with just any person without good reason would be a big no no.

Sorry for changing the direction a bit but would the data protection act also apply to people, names, DoB's, home address, and home and mobile phone numbers being on display on a notice board for all to see?

I'm not happy about it, but apparently it's there because people "might need to know". My thoughts are if they need to know, they can bloody ask!
