Induction day travel expenses?

I've just been offered a job at my local delivery office but the induction day is to be held at Croydon Mail Centre. This will cost me about £35 in train fares to get there as opposed to the £3 it will cost me to go to my actual works location, and best part of 2 hours travelling time each way instead of about 10 minutes!

Do we get reimbursed that travel cost if we provide the necessary tickets/receipts?

you will get paid all your travel costs and maybe even your travel time as well.

just keep the receipts and give them to your DOM at your home office on the day you start there.
