New role as Team Leaders

Heard last week that Royal Mail have far to many managers now so they are getting a new role as Team Leaders that coincides getting the mail out in the morning walking about on the floor to tell staff "Leave it with me" usual trip to the coffee machine then they have to take a half walk out. Some managers have gone down to posties this week already...Is this in your office yet?...

I think its great to see the DOMS having to do Delivery Rounds, Or finish Duties that cant
be Completed on time. Brings them back to Reality, I personally would like
to get hold of our Area Manager and make him do a few deliveries in our office. This
I have suggested to DOM, But our Area Manager declined. Team Leaders was nearly
brought in about 6-7 years ago, Nearly Rolled out to ordinary Posties. But no one
likes a bossy boots, So soon thrown out. After all we are all in this mess together

The next time your area manager is around walk up to him and tell him he should try doing a walk. Please do this.

so what pay rate are they on for doing this coffee machine duty ?
