Hi everyone.

I applied to join the RAF reserves at the start of the year and passed the selection test, since then I've been reinstated back at royal mail. Got my interview and medical in July but haven't informed the office yet but just wanted to know if anyone had any info on how it works being in the reserves?

Do you take your training and deployment periods from your own holiday or do you get separate entitlement? Any other info on the matter would be greatly appreciated before I drop the news to my DOM and watch his face sink :dance

Hi,i was in the ta and did two tours abroad and still had usual holidays
