the misses had it. Hers was a thicken tissue in her hand and wrist causing loss of feeling and movement.
As strange as it sounds i recall her saying she had to concentrate more as she could not rely on her hand to do things that she used to do that she took for granted.

It is hereditary i believe although i think this job might have something to do with it. I've had right wrist done, left wrist more recently and keyhole surgery in left hand to stop claw fist, thanks rm!
Why are lino's paid full-time ??

I don't think carpal tunnel and tarsal tunnel are the same thing.

Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome is very similar to what you are saying about the hands but its in your feet. My understanding is it can effected people in different ways and different levels of pain. How I understand it, its a trap nerve which goes through your ankle. Runners can get it. Toes in my both feet have gone numb and as the day goes on the pain increases, at night time the soles of my feet have a feeling of when your fingers get warm again after being really cold, some people compare it to a burning sensation.
The reason why I am asking about it is that its taken a long time for this to be diagnose, the first tests they do were for diabetes. My advice to anyone in the early stages is to seek medical advice, as I have found out it does not get better without treatment and numb toes effects your balance.
