As a way of letting Royal Mail and more importantly The Sun know what we think of their free paper being 'Forced' upon us as householders: Ive suggested to as many customers and anyone else who'll listen.
Rip them up or better still shred them for maximum disruptive effect and post them back into Royal Mail collection boxes.
If as many people as possible did this it would have some effect and perhaps someone somewhere will get the message that this particular kind of mailshot is far from appreciated by a great many people.
Everyone is equal in Royal Mail, but some are more equal than others!
I'm not a fan of the sun or any other paper for that matter but it is the most popular paper for some reason and a lot of people will be happy to get it. Personally I can't believe anyone buys it but there you go.

No, I can't believe anyone buys it so perhaps this is the start of making the Sun a free paper, and if this one is successful we'll soon be delivering them daily , just what we need for job security.

Sorry but all that does is makes it harder for the workers. When it gets back to the office all the managers will do is tell the collections guy to bin them as "refused". A much better idea is to roll them up attach a label addressed to FREEPOST, The Sun, London E98 1AX.
That way RM make more in revenue and its the Sun who have to deal with the mess, and more importantly its the Sun who get an idea of how much they are disliked.

Just tip the chaff back into the mail centre and get on with it.
Try working in deliveries if you want to sample life in the real world!
Try clearing a box not knowing if there's broken glass or used needles hiding amongst the post as you sweep the post into a bag, known a few boys who've been shitting bricks waiting for test results after getting pricked with a needle.

If RM ever finds out your identity you'll be down the road. Encouraging the sheep of the world to put litter in pillar boxes really isn't the most sensible way of making some sort of protest, and doesn't make your colleagues' jobs any easier either. You better pray none of those "customers" phone your DO and tell them what you've suggested...
Yes the address is genuine. The Murdoch print works (Fortress Wapping) for the Sun, the Times and the Sunday Times, is in Virginia St, Wapping, London E.1. But they have their own postcode - E98 1AX, and post addressed there will reach them.
