Some in our office finished at 1 45 today and others at 1pm the finish time is 2 30 so the last few that came in at 1 45 was made to stay behind and prep the sun papers. RM will take on similar contracts in the future so I advise you work to your time tomorrow sod Bob Gibson and his merry men at CWU they don't have to carry these weights especially after watching a video Tuesday about over weight bags. Again when it suits them.. WORK TO YOUR TIME GUYS NOTHING THEY CAN DO...

my finish time was 14.45 and I got back to office15.50 wasn't light for me put all the papers in when I got back took me until 16.30,this all went down on docket as ot,my day off tomorrow so hopefully not to many of the dreaded papers to deliver Friday.

Future rm,,,,what kind of way is that to speak to someone,,,,,people like you, ,, . Talking down to someone, given you're name and the way you're talking you sound like a future boss ,if not one already . There is a lot that's goin on in offices round the country intimidation etc reg lapsing , delivery spans and a whole lot more . This is not the way forward , staff will do as little possible if treated like rubbish . Treat people with dignity and respect ,even a little thank you when needed all helps . The sickness levels esp staff off with stress , is high ,some people do have a breaking point .

Why on earth are people putting newspapers in their frames, how are you going to sort the mail in around them and even fit Thursdays mail in as well? I don't get it, it's far easier just to fold them, bundle them up and carry them at the back of the bundles same as with d2d,

If those guys are finishing up to 1 1/2 hrs early then lapsing is a no brainer.

Im not saying all posties have it easy, some work their asses off but some DO's like the original poster's are taking the piss.

I think he the original poster was highlighting that some have it easy in any office yet others are tarred with the same brush regardless it is the same up and down the land.
