Can anyone with some knowledge on ACF's confirm or deny if all the mail centres across the country use different figures for trays of letters, sleaves of packets and parcels etc or is there a standardized figure?
Was told recently that these figures are different for each mail centre and was wondering how come as surely RM cannot use different figures in different areas.
Could this maybe be why some areas go against the national trend in regards to actual mail delivered year on year?
If the same ACF's that were used 5 years ago were used today would it show a decline in mail volumes or an increase?

Are ACFs not measured by someone in your office on a daily basis? Where I work, there are opg duties and a management structure all counting mail and waving clipboards. I counted them recently and they amounted to 1/6 of staff on the shift.

No all the ACF figures come from the mail centres in my area. Just curious how these figures though seem to differ for each mail centre as surely mail in one place should be the same as the others!
