what do you think

Post by evilc »

It seems that are moves are afoot in being close to an agreement, now before the cwu shout from the rooftops that all i/a is stopped, do my colleagues on here agree that we should keep the option open of taken further i/a until a ballot has been made of staff so that they can vote yes or no, the reason behind my thoughts is that we have lost several days pay and do not want it to be all in vain.

ie: The dispute is not over until we have voted.

Agree....

I still won't trust :lfo :cfo to keep to whatever is agreed anyway.

How soon after this is all over before the goalposts are moved at local level as they will continue their divide and conquer strategy.

Indeed i to have heard that PERHAPS an agreement is lurking and you are correct in saying an agree needs to be ratified by me/you/us/we the union,as to weather or not the strikes continue!!! i dare say part of any agreement would include the calling off of any Industrial Action.

IF and thats a big IF a deal is made, the voting papers will have to fight their way through the massive backlog,so a method to filter them through the system would need to be found.

Myself although i have heard from my union chairman yet another deal has been offered i do not hold out much hope it'll be good enough for the Union Exec accept.

keep it going

To my way of thinking the biggest mistake we made was giving them that month or so of time to reflect and get heads together they never had any desire to end it and it shatters moral keep it going until its settled.
