Advise on Induction training for Deliveries...

Having been through an extremely poorly managed mailcentre closure which resulted in our DO turning into a MPU,i obtained an indoor duty on days as a reserve. The other 30 or so members who opted for deliveries had 2 weeks induction and coaching/shadowing training together with a 'bedding'in period to adjust to life on deliveries. Some of them were on deliveries 25years ago and some just 5 years ago , yet all had the same 2 week induction. I for the record had no such training whatsoever as my duty was an indoor duty. Now i am constantly being asked to perform delivery work with just the odd bit of info on PDA training, trolley pulling top tip of ' dont walk whilst reading the address' instead of receiving the same training as all other members.
The question is..can i refuse to go out on delivery as i have no official safe systems of work nor health and safety training for 20years or is shadowing a coach for 25mins on delivery sufficient??

Shadowing a coach for 25 minutes is more training than many get!

You probably need a rep to get involved but I would certainly advise the manager you have had no formal training and would ask for at least a few days with a Trainer to make sure you are doing everything right. If possible do it in writing so you have a record if they refuse and try to discipline you for failing to follow guidelines etc.
