I went part time, 4 weeks ago down to a 3 day week. All agreed and got my new hours from HR in the post. Because he can't get my Saturdays covered, he told me today to either go back to full time on a rotation day off or RESIGN ! All off the record in his car whilst driving me to another office, but now every conversation will be recorded.

Yep, make notes, inform union rep and if it happens again take it further. Did you buy down or just go down without any money? By the way e can't make you resign and he can't make you work anymore than your new contract so don't worry. And finally don't go in a managers car, if he wants to drive to another office make him use a work van.

Well as I said he can't make you do anything but if he starts being nasty to you or suggesting it again don't be afraid to go to your area rep. A little email to moya works a treat as well.

Id record it and find out about legal action as well as telling the union.
