Money for delivering election stuff?

I was told we would get a little money for delivering the election propaganda. On my payslip there is nothing, or is it included in delivery supplement?

You should be supplied with a form to fill in on a weekly basis from your manager... this is for poll cards, addressed election leaflets and unaddressed... you will get paid per item... from what I've read on here it's between 3p and 7p per leaflet depending on what's been agreed on your patch...

Yea I filled those in for the leaflets I have done so far over the last couple of weeks. When should we get the money?

I believe it's paid on a weekly basis but undoubtedly down to your DIM when he inputs into the system... can't think of any other reason why you've not been weighed out...

Sophie have a word with your manager/book room staff - normally you should be paid it on a weekly basis - I have had 2 payments of "Election Delivery Payment" - if no joy then involve the Union.

Floaters/reserves get shafted when it comes to this. Duty holders either telling you to leave them (funny they never say the same about D2Ds) or they rush to deliver them before their D/O. FTers have so many perks already, it's like a two-tier workforce.

I'd gladly let the floater do all my election s**t, more hassle than it's worth, & not worth it in the long run.

yeah im a floater,,,,3 of the walks are great lads....the other 2...there not so great lads,,,,,,thats so,,,the walks im on tomorrow they threw every election leaflet they had in,,,,i was leaving to go out posting this morning and they were discussing if it`ll be dark by the time they finish,,,,all so they could do all the leaflets them selves...yeah im on theres tomorrow,,,,when I got back the `greens` leaflets were in,,,,i think they'll be gutted Saturday LOL

Funny enough three lots of election leaflets turned up on my day off and the cover guy decided he'd do them all himself! Yet he only managed his normal share of the non-paying D2Ds!

But you carry on bleating about how hard done by you reserves/floaters are in this two-tier system in your mind!


Full timers don't have a monopoly on @rseholes, you reserves/floaters have plenty of your own!
