manager giving himself overtime before postmen
our managers day off this sat, he as put himself down for a walk on ot, which one postman wants to do, does the postman get first pick before the manager?

as Tpost said, manager should not be doing any postmans work its taking hours off of members and also distorts any issues in the office, so if he is doing a walk or even doing any sort of sorting in the morning then get the rep to put in a stage 1 disagreement

usually go out when thernot going to give docket out , also any over time he does he can't put it in himself his SOM needs to put it in

in that case its not just as clear cut an answer then, basically the overtime has to be allocated fairly and nothing against him being in the mix to get his fair share of that OT, as long as he is not being paid at the time as a manager he is then an OPG and just as entitled to the OT as anyone else
