Malatin catalogues.

Every month Matalin send lot of catalogue to every customers all on one day. It cause lot of pressure on IPS sorting team.

Why Royal Mail allow it, it should be WSM sorted putting less pressure on resources. I am sick of Matalin Fridays.

Our office got hammered with them today as well. Lots of complaining about not being able to lapse so management said leave them along with any mailsort and any DSA!

there seems to be less of them than there were 2 years ago, and smaller.

ever notice how many are wrongly addressed? what else would you expect from a shop selling tat.

not moaning about the quantity maisy but the way they send them to us, wrong house numbers on a lot, also address's are printed so catalogue has to be turned the other way in bundle. a little cooperation wouldn't go a miss.

But they used to come bundled and walk sorted, now they come covered in strapex and aren't even in any any sort of street order.

I think it's because to buy anything from there you have to sign up for 'membership', which is a thinly disguised ploy for them to send you loads of shite once they have your details. Hence loads of people probably put the wrong details down on purpose.

Streaming is not allowed, DSA is 1c.

What size are the catalogues and are they wrapped in plastic?

That's what I thought but apparently they got permission to delay them all a day.

Of course I think it was really a way to get people to do them all plus their lapsed so they didn't have more on Saturday because most people ended up doing just that! :arrrghhh
