Transfers blocked?

Colleague of mine had his transfer agreed(to Weymouth) Sold his house,found a place to live in Weymouth,now they have told him that RM have blocked all transfers!
So now the house sale is off and the transfer is off!

I'm not an expert but there must be a legal case here?

His Mrs & kids were still gonna go then he was gonna ring the HR to plead his case that way,but I'm not sure what he's gonna do now.

When you say "it was agreed" exactly how agreed was it? Did he have written confirmation or was he just going on a verbally tacit agreement?

Have you got a sick record for the last 1 year? Usually some delivery office who accept people coming over from their previous block the transfer because your a risk to the area budget.
