TEST LETTERS

when I asked my manager what happens if said test letters put in the front office box(6 of them)don't arrive at the mail centre the next day? gave me a whole load of spill,which nearly made me give up the will to live etc etc.i suggested they should be put in rural boxes,on sat morning,as I know lots would fail as they miss the 12 o clock final,he said they should get off there arse and get into town to catch the 12 final,or use TNT!!! classic customer first reply????

Manager gets in trouble and told to investigate why box was not emptied and conveyed to mail centre correctly that day

i suggested they should be put in rural boxes,on sat morning,as I know lots would fail as they miss the 12 o clock final

they do, the test letters can be put into any box, DOM has no control over them and does not even know who the senders or recipients are

he said they should get off there arse and get into town to catch the 12 final,or use TNT!!! classic customer first reply????

am sure he wont be saying that after he has failed more than a few test letters!

Test letters in my office are laminated yellow A4 letters which explains the procedure and the office its from, if the postman finds it when emptying a box he needs to hand it to the manager, if He misses it but collects it and it gets to the mail centre then it must be handed to a manager who will contact the lino to conform when it was found.

It would then be down to the manager to decide if it was collected within its timeframe or not.
