This will be my first time delivering the poll cards so was just wondering how is best to do it.

Iv been told you have 2 days to deliver them and you have to count how many you deliver including political leaflets.

What is the most efficient way to do it, how do you work out what ones you are going to deliver each day? Do you just put them in the frame where your going the first day, or do a section of the frame each day? Do they come pre sorted in order?

And whats the best way to count how many you deliver? Do you count them as you put them in the frame or out on delivery?

seems offices have different rules, usually we times the total delivery points by 2.5, then by 3p for an average,
though varies, we get told we cant book overtime on top when delivering these.
pass now we're private, probably classed as general mail

last general election i was covering a duty all week, most houses in the office, 1000ish
bloke came in week after and gave me a form for local elections, i said i'd already signed it, he said he can't sign it because he was on sick, i got double

Im going to be on a round where I would usually go over anyway so I'm assuming I can still claim ot, as I would on a normal day as it's a big round. Not been told otherwise anyway, infact not been told much at all!!!

Did ours last week,they're a right pain to deliver,sticking together etc.

locally they came through as DSA and so got sequenced and the local DO staff would have to have delivered them in 1 day. From another thread in the forums different returning officers use different streams for when they post them

Afraid it is if you agree to delivering them, you can of course opt out. If you extend on a regular basis then it may pay to opt out.
