Yeah don't forget that hugely massive saving of 1p per pint of beer from the Budget too, so if you're in a pub full of 301 people, you could by that last person a beer with all that money "saved" on buying all the others a beer..OnAFlyer wrote:Beers are on me! I didn't think we were owed, I didn't think that officially the new tax year started until this week as the beginning of last week was still in March so try see out the current week before the new year officially starts. Could be wrong.

This week is the first of the new financial year/tax period, so I don't think we are owed anything.
Personal Tax Allowance is going up by £560.
