Wide Brimmed Hats To Be Compulsory Uniform

A chap on my walk works for HSE and stopped me this morning. He said that RM were going to make wearing the wide brimmed cricket style hats compulsory to HCT users in the Summer months. The reason for it was that RM are worried that too many HCT staff are going to throw sickies claiming sun stroke. Thank god I do a rural.

I've seen them. They're not cricket-style hats but they do have wide rims (and are actually somewhat stylish.)

Why HTC's? Won't other outdoor worker get sunstroke? LWT users, walkers with bags etc.
