its been fecked up for at least a couple of years i think you can blame the lapsing/absorbing when its busy

It went wrong with the single delivery and allowing DSA. My frame was 80% DSA mail this Saturday.

Its like any other job these days, in that you generally are working till your time, but its not the only job in the world so if you are that fed up you should try something else. I have days when im not that happy, but you have to weigh it all up around your personal circumstances. Personally I look at the positives, Decent pay, 6 weeks holiday, good sick pay, pension, no stress, 2 minute commute, no late working hours and over all its still pretty decent. If you are full time plenty of people would LOVE our job as it stands at the moment.

Edward probably is correct in the short term. However I dont care how fit you are. You cannot continue 5 days a week walking anything from 8 to 12 miles a day particularly when it gets hot, without suffering some form of physical breakdown and possibly mental stress.

I'm not going to say 'leave if you don't like it' - but I don't understand why so many people say they hate the job but have no intention of going.

Life is too short to do something you hate for years, there is plenty of opportunity out there if you really want it.

not here, i still like the job to a degree, but its all take take take now,
no leeway
on saturdays (matchday) i used to come in a tad early and my oppo stays out regardless & takes my last loop to allow me to get to match without stinking,
got told friday i couldn't do this now, so went in to time and got questioned why we couldn't complete?
i offered them 30 mins free just so i could get off early and complete but no, a line manager had to do our extra bit,
back early and its back out delivering or a brush!
sad thing is that most take a street out in their cars to get home 10 mins earlier

I wish it was as easy as leaving and finding something else, but it's not. Also, why should I have to leave nearly 18 years in a job because it's run by clueless idiots that don't know how the real world works?

I'm frankly sick of the attitude of some people "Don't like it, get another job" that's the reason this job is in the state it is. Try picking up a damn history book. What SHOULD happen, is you make the job better and improve things, not put up or shut up.

Exactly venger ,leave if you don't like the job brigade , this is a different world we live in now ,you can't jump into another job easy now. If you've been in the job for years why should you get pushed out (and they want long servers like us out)everyone can see the place is being dismantled bit by bit because of profit and sheer greed now. We all just want fairness and our offices to be run well without coming into b &h etc every day.
