I'm concerned for my colleagues and friends in the mail centres and distribution arms of the business. I'm not thinking people working in deliveries are all safe, we'll be squeezed down the line to save money. Its just that as long as people need stuff delivered there's going to be posties delivering it but how long is it going to be before RM decides that it's cheaper to employ someone else to move the mail around the country in their own lorries rather than RM keeping and maintaining a fleet of lorries.

Hoping labour renationalise the rpyal mail when they get in power. Most ppl in our office are really hating there jobs now, the b and h ,swings and erm swings etc . Can't blieve how there destroying the Royal Mail and nothing we can do about it .it is the worst its ever been .

Incorrect. They are all on personal contracts, with no redundancy terms and very little notice period. No doubting they drew a sizeable salary, but there will be no golden handshakes for the top lot.
