cant wear my shoes anymore as they are worn down a lot thus making it uncomfortable to walk in. tried to order new shoes or trainers but its been out of stock for three weeks now. i have been wearing my own shoes and thus wearing them down aswell. dom knows about it and shrugs his shoulders. can i bill royal mail for a new pair to replace the ones i am wearing. also there is a health and safety issue here wearing my own shoes, what happens if i have an accident.

Got my new pair this morning.
YDS goretex trainers. Impressed.
Look similar to cats but much stiffer sole,firmer fit and feel better quality.
Put them on for the first loop to pan them in and managed all six loops without problems.
Best of all they grip in the wet.No more ice skating on wet paths.
Time will tell but seem a big improvement over the Cat trainers.

Been waiting six weeks for a pair of Magnum shoes. How a company that relies on staff walking miles every day can run out of shoes for any length of time is beyond me.

Bimey! 'trainers' with a stiffer sole than the present Cats doesn't sound good to me... I already think the Cats soles are far too firm and inflexible, they offer no cushioning at all compared to what I'd class as a proper trainer.

I know a stiffer sole means they're more hard wearing and last longer which might be a good thing for RM bean counters but it's no benefit to us.

In my office you can get up to £30 reimburse if you have a Dr. note stating you cant wear the work shoes.

Goretex liners don't last long and they make your feet sweat,I wouldn't touch a pair of goretex boots,trainers or shoes

One week with new YDS trainers which were sent when I ordered Magnum Shoes and my feet are suffering every day, so uncomfortable, no support, thin bendy soles.
I thought the Magnums were just out of stock but someone said that Magnum shoes are no longer being issued, does anyone know if this is the case?
If so, I will have to try something else because I can't walk four hours a day in these trainers long term.

Get thee to your docs and have him refer you to the local chiropodist and biomechanics dept. They'll hopefully be able to remedy your flat feet with custom made orthotics.
