The reason he told me was, he had five households and was taking them home to door up to save him time on the Monday morning as he's expected to sort two trays of sequence mail and five households in 15 mins ! Got me wondering is this happening nationwide ? I know it's not allowed but are postmen under that amount of pressure through excessive households they have to resort to these sort of sackable tactics
Why the hell would you take D2D's home as you could be later out on delivery and cut off sooner.
By making his round achievable if he takes his 5 D2D's home will only make the management give him more work.

When the d2d for the following week came in the runners/numpties would descend on the yorks like vultures to find their boxes to take home to put them all together.
One or two even went out with their missus and kids ON A SUNDAY to deliver them.
Mind you, I used to laugh when one or two d2d's came in late sometimes and they had to take them out.

I thought they were going to be 'nested' for us in an envelope in the not to distant future,surely that's what the union told us so we'd give up being paid for them like we were.Is that not on the cards now

in the not so distant past last year we were a trial office for nested d2ds the trial was supposed to last 12 weeks but suddenly stopped after about 6 or 7 we asked the managers why they said the union had stopped it because it was saving us to much time. Not heard anything about it since

Where on earth was the manager when this was happening? Surely the manager is as much to blame for allowing this as the dipstick doing it. Ask moya if this is allowed.

After delivery on a Saturday? Where do you think the manager was, he'd have been home 3 hours earlier.
