Grandfather rights question

Hi there,I wonder if any union rep can give me a definate 100% answer to the following,thank you.
I currently receive £4 a week 'Res Rights Driving' payment a week,My question is-Can they stop this payment if someone has been off sick for a certain amount of time?
This has happened to me as i am currently off sick ( 2 months ).My dom said this comes under the agreement about certain allowances being stopped if you have been off sick for over 6 weeks or something?
I will ask my office rep to look into this if that is the best thing to do.

yes they can and i thought it was £6.

it is £6 read TWF page 10 (under the heading pay and grading) to see if this applies to you.

Thanks for that bogstandard,I used to do a 3 week rotation which was 2 driving duties and one non driving duty which is why i get £4 a week not £6.
I'll be back to work again soon anyway so ill leave it at that now then.
