daughters wedding
I have plenty of holiday time left so when I found out my daughter was getting married In July I applied for one day off only to be told the days are fully booked up and not to worry something would be worked out.Should I be worried ? or should I trust what the management says. (this could be a first for me).

Worry.
Get something in writing.
You don't know who your manager is going to be in July.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

And if it all goes pear shaped just say "I'm sorry but I won't be in on Saturday as I will be at my daughters wedding".
Don't worry one jot about it!

Tell them there's no way you will miss the wedding so they'd better find a way even if it means swapping your rest day or taking a day unpaid.
