Thats cool cos thats only 2hrs 48mins indoor work, of which there still has to be a meal break, 2 x 700 calls = 1400, I personally have 800 calls which is a bit confusing because under Indoor Work Methods no frame should be more than 720 slots?????

Hi, thanks for the advice so far, after checking more of the pairings today it seems that their is some lovely duties which have been created and some unachievable ones? After finally receiving help from a senior union official in our area, it now seems that finally our office revision will soon be ready too deploy. ty

What I mean is to work out the times shown for the new duties do they have a set amount of time per house x number of delivery points? ty

The length of the delivery is determined by how many metres it is.
You then have to factor in the walking speed (and that varies with delivery type and terrain)
The call-rate (how many doors you go to) has to be decided and the attendance rate (how many doors you knock on) is taken from the packet count.
There is a set time to deliver the mail through the door but that varies according to house/flat/multiple occupancy.

And all that gives you the delivery span.

And what is the maximum time a delivery for a full timer should be ?

In theory a delivery can be as long as your duty time minus meal relief.

So for an 8 hour day the delivery span could be up to 7hrs 20mins. But this of course depends on how much indoor work you have to do.

The days of Job and finish and 3 1/2 hr delivery span are over so its more important than ever to do the job properly.
