HOW DO YOU GET RID OF A LINO

How do you get rid of a lino .PLEASE. I have met lots of linos most of them seem fair and try to do there job. For years our office has virtually run itself this past year has been a nightmare for a majority of OPGs and other temp linos. This lino would be at home in a Victorian work house. He has been moved from several other offices due to various allegations. Bar having a whip round and contacting the Maffia is there any advice on how to get rid of him.

It isn't in my job description to hire or fire the line managers.

Yeah its possible but it would require the co-operation of most of the office. Unfortunately most of the offices I've worked in too many just want an easy life and keep a low profile. I went it alone once and took the dom on. I had to change office as a result. Ultimately any attempt to remove a dom is more likely to end in yourself being removed.

The Union is now locally based. Neither RM nor CWU want any more national strikes, but the local rep has been catapulted into a position of strength and any disputes should be dealt with locally using mediation. If you don't have a rep, stand for election and become one yourself. This is just the sort of local dispute that needs the new approach to industrial relations.
