What is the mileage allowance for motorcycle users is it the same as a car ie 45p per mile?

It's best to drive the van home each afternoon, then back in the next morning. :Very Happy And no worries about mileage allowance. :nana :nana

No, not for driving to work at your regular Delivery Office :crazy: but driving to one more distant as requested by management. :sad:

On top of mileage do you still get the travelling time? I did a first aid course years ago at a different office and got the mileage plus the time spent travelling.

The difference is if its outside your normal duty hours and you have been instructed/required to travel to another site. If during normal duty hours then you are already being paid for the time.

A little bit of confusion over this, RM will pay 45p per mile for travel or more, whilst the CWU will pay 45p per mile car/ 24p per mile motor cycle for Union activities :oops:
