Is it me or.......

Is it just me , or does anyone else have any problems with new walks? ive been on a few now, ive twenty years service, so I no what to expect, but ffs, some customers....they seem to be waiting for me, twitching the curtains, just to make sure I don't walk over their nice gravel gardens, gravel ffs, im not going to feckin wear out gravel am I? or threatening to report me to the office just because I walked over a bit of their grass, they don't even feckin cut it ,the council does ffs. Or cant you read? the sign on the letter box says "no junk mail" and......? What if I complained and moaned to them about them not cutting their overhanging feckin trees and nearly poking my eye out , or them not having a fecking number or name plate on their house, im not a feckin mind reader....or when they park their cars over the entrance to their gate and you cant get down to post the letters, so you have to go over next doors lawn, and get another bollicking, or when islip on their feckin slippy path that's covered in wet moss.........rant over .

tell 'em to come and pick their mail up from the office as the walk to their front door is fraught with hazards and RM are always warning us about them and that we must assess each delivery on its merits.. ie is it safe to deliver and if not then "no mail for you" and walk on. They'll soon change their minds I bet.

hate to say this but when i was younger if i fell out with a customer i used to peel the stamps off there Christmas cards

I used to work with an Old Jock that used to rub the mail in Dog s**t and post it, if someone had pissed him off!
