Grievance procedure under new agreement

I've just received my stage 3 grievance outcome. What a surprise.....I lost. Are there any changes to the process under the new agreement? Until grievances are considered by somebody independant of the company, then they will continue to offer little benefit to us. All I gained from it is a whole load of grief and now I'm a marked man.

Grievance procedure remains unchanged,you have my sympathy as the process takes an inordinate length of time and rarely reaches a satisfactory conclusion from our perspective,however, sometimes we have no option,but to proceed and endure.

I wonder if a poll was done on the use and application of the grievance procedure.
What would the results show?

Even appeals against conduct decisions are not looked at impartially.

the whole Grievance procedure stinks,always has. Its the same as the b&h procedure, you fill in a b&h form stating whats happened & how its left you feeling & you get a reply saying your case is more of a grievance & the grievance procedure should be followed! So they are telling you,you are not being bullied,harassed or intimated! So they know how you are feeling??? They can tell you your emotions are wrong? They kick it back to local level & it goes nowhere.

Never mind though, under the new agreement none of this will be an issue, the cwu have guaranteed us the culture & relationships are going to change so worry not! Thats why you all voted for it! right?

i feel exactly same as you,the odds are stacked against you from the very beginning and i have no faith either in the procedure.What chance realistically are you going to have when the person involved in the interview process is another dom.

They have their little inner circle of friends who look out for each other,and like everything else in this f****d up country,corruption is rife!.

Yes absolutely, cover ups and corruption in royal mail is rife if you ask me. DOMs are as much as a protected species in royal mail as a barn owl is to the countryside.

DOMs still continue to bully & harass in the knowledge that they know they can get away with it, all this bullshit code of business standards count for piss all as far as their concerned

The grievance process is so obviously corrupt. I know I had a cast iron case. A local dom dealt with it who was no doubt 'mates' with my dom. I had several witnesses who supported my claim. However I didn't get on with another witness and he stiched me up. All the evidence in my favour was then overlooked. My case took over 2 years in total. Absolute disgrace.
