First day I'm office. Nightmare

Hello, I had my induction yesterday so my first day today. Walked in to be greeted by the manger got shown where toilets and rest room was then got took to the yard where immediately went out on delivery with another person. This bloke showed me the Dailey inins when out on deliverys. When we got back to the office drenched through to the bone due to this awful weather he basically just told me to go home. But I hadn't seen the manger or anything. The only interaction was the two mins in the morning.

So I am quite worried about tomorow ? I.e where do I go etc as I've had no high viz or I.d so should I just go back to reception tomorow or should I go through staff enterence and try to find the manger first thing?

I presume you have a start time if so just turn up on time and see the person you were working with today he will sought you out,i wouldn't worry you'll soon get used to it B

Thanks guys. Yes I got left in the lurch today lol. Was a bit of a nightmare, do you think I should go to reception and explain I'm new or walk straight through and sign in ? I'm so worried :( even tho I shouldn't be. I think because of the weather etc everyone was rushed off their feet etc.

Don't worry, just go straight through and sign in and look for the chap you worked with today.

I only saw my manager briefly on the morning I started to be introduced to him and I remember he scared the hell out of me. 'It's hard work' was the only thing I remember him saying to me, he must have thought I wasn't going to last 5 minutes lol..I seriously wouldn't worry, if you don't see the bloke you worked with just tell someone you're new and you don't know where to go.

Meant to be lol. Spent the whole day just out following this one other bloke for the day. That's it. I thought I would have done more than that on my first day, for example being shown how to sort the Mail etc
